Spyros Bekiaris is a creative thinker, problem-solver, and skilled advocator with more than a decade of civil and construction litigation experience. As part of his proactive approach, he provides comprehensive counsel that includes the incorporation of a strategic litigation plan into his client’s overall business strategy. 

As RAR’s Managing Lawyer, Spyros plays a critical role in both the Commercial and Construction Groups. Since joining the firm in 2018, he has successfully represented developers in multi-million-dollar claims stemming from multi-residential projects, defended developers in large-scale claims brought against them by contractors and other developers, and represented a financial company seeking debt enforcement resulting from the financing of multi-residential developments, and he is well-versed in bringing injunctive relief to owners of large-scale residential projects. His liens experience extends across various infrastructure, commercial, and multi-residential projects.

Spyros has appeared before various courts in Ontario including the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, Superior Court of Justice and Divisional Court. He has successfully negotiated favourable settlements at mediation and arbitration.
